How Can Math Be Related To Your Career?

I realized that math is everywhere. It took me a while to understand this factor of life. In the past, I’ve made some decisions that were not skillfully planed out and as a result I had to pay for the consequence. Math is all around us. In the beginning of my journey, I really wanted to get a private liberal arts college and thought that math would be the last thing on my mind. However, after some research my major require a lot of math. I plan to enter photography and graphic designs. I need math to calculate the distance and angles of the images I want to take. Not to mention the different equations that I need to understand when it comes to changing color schemes and creating completed templates. I feel like an idiot not realizing that math is the key fundamental factor to be a successful person. Since the acceptance to that college I’ve been very blessed to have a scholarship to match it. Now it’s up to me to get a decent grade in your class so I won’t lose it.

Honey, I Had A Stroke!

A stroke can happen to anyone at anytime. However, this occurs more in people that are older. Younger generations have a higher heath percent rate. A stroke happens when your blood pressure is either too high or not too low. There are many factors that can lead to a person getting a stroke. Such as smoking, drinking and having very high cholesterol. “A stroke, or cerebrovascular accident (CVA), occurs when blood supply to part of the brain is disrupted, causing brain cells to die. When blood flow to the brain is impaired, oxygen and glucose cannot be delivered to the brain. Blood flow can be compromised by a variety of mechanisms.” People can never predict when they might have a stroke. However, when you do get one. It can be very catastrophic. There are treatments that can help you lower your blood sugar and prevent this from happening. The reason why stroke occurs more in the older generation because, the elderly are limited when it comes to working out. Stroke can also happen to well trained athletics. Since this illness can be passed through genetics. People that survive of a bad stroke usually experience headaches and chest pains. The symptoms can be varied from numbness of the lips to irritations to sounds. You might be exposed to it through your parents. We can take care of our body by eating correctly. There are numerous medicines that can help treat and prevent you from getting a major stroke that can kill you, but there really expensive.
My Views.
I don’t want a STROKE! Just from reading the articles I will never drink or smoke ever again! I never knew that athletic people can get stroke. But when you expose your body to extreme conditions it makes sense that you can cult your arteries. My friend had a stroke and lived but her sensation is different from what it was before. This article is really packed with information about health.

This is the fifth annual Asian heritage street celebration. People come from different community to showcase their customs and lifestyles to other ethic groups. Held by the City of San Francisco, this event is very honorable.


I’ll be in it this May 16th, and I hope that it will be a great Asian heritage street celebration. I can’t wait and is hoping that I get a chance to meet city officials.

Personal Blog

In about 4 weeks I will be graduating from Burton High School. The idea of going to college is making me very excited! If any of you are applying to Academy of Art University in San Francisco, please let me know. Maybe we can be friends there. Since this is a social-networking place. I’m going to tell you a little more about myself. “I enjoy long walks on the beach….and have dinner with (scratch) LOL….Just kidding. Lets be honest, many people think that I’m a big old mean person. However, that is not the case. I’m really nice if you get to know me. I like to keep things real and if what I say to people offends you. Then I’m sorry. My passion is in VISUAL and performing arts. I love to be part of huge productions. Most of the people that I have associated with know and understands how much I love photography and graphic design! THAT IS MY PASSION! I’m a direct person and I am not afraid to tell you what is on my mind. However, that does not make me an “asshole” I’m loyal and honest (most of the times…heheh) but with that all being said. My friends can always count on me when they need a helping hand or a mental “pick me up”. I love talking to people. Sometimes that can be a bad thing. (laughs) Since I like to meet new people and experience the stories that they share with me. You can pretty much talk to me about the cheesiest thing ever, and I will generate a pretty interesting conversation with you. I try to make friends that are different from who I am because, I want to enrich myself with their personal customs and lifestyle. My motto is “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” you’ll never know the many impressing chapters they have. Sometimes that will surprise you! Right now, I’m at a point in my life where I don’t have to pretend to make or have friends. My personally has guided others to come to me. I am very happy to say that I am surrounded by a positive group of people. I want to use this team of role models to help motivate others overcome rough situation in their life. I want to close this summary by saying that people will always try to put you down. Sometimes you might not even notice it. Just promise me one thing. Every morning that you wake up, look at your self in the mirror and say that you’ll have a good day!

Union Takes Rare Front Seat in Deal for Chrysler

Mega car company known as Chrysler is going out of business. They announce their bankruptcy a few days ago. Now the federal government and fiat (Italian car company) is joining force to help Chrysler out. However, you be surprise to know that there's a third party that also own this slopping company. They are the worker's union. This has not happen since decades ago.

I think its good that workers own the company because they get to say what goes into the new deals and how things should be run. Besides maybe this won't bring the company to downfall once more.

Legalized Cuba

We can finally go to CUBA now! President Obama has now made it legal for people to visit their family members back in Cuba. Before, is most Americans want to travel to Cuba, they have a restriction of one visit per year. Since President Obama said that we need to form a better relationship with Cuba. It might be best for us to give them more tourist attraction.

This does not really apply to me because I don't travel to Cuba. However, I'm glad for the people that do. They can go see their family more often.

Social Networking Violence

Social networking companies such as myspace, facebook, twitter and youtube is sweeping the nation. More and more people are logging on to meet up with long lost friends and informing people about their daily lifestyle. This can be a very good thing until strangers start looking at their profiles. After many reported violence that have leaked the internet. County police have busted many gang related situations. They say that this is a very good tool to catching criminals.

I try to be careful when it comes to uploading my personal information. Besides I try my best to add my friends, not random strangers.
